PG-13 serves young adults ages 18–25 who have recently graduated high school and desire structured support as they transition into independent adulthood.

What exactly is PG-13?

PG-13: Post Graduate Transition Program is a faith-based transition program that equips young adults with workforce readiness skills, financial literacy, life skills development, mentorship, and positive community support.

We are not a college or degree-granting institution. We are a structured life-preparation and workforce development program.

How long is the program?

PG-13 operates in structured 3-month cohorts (12 weeks).

Each cohort includes:

  • One in-person workshop per month

  • Weekly check-ins and accountability support

  • At-home assignments and goal tracking

How often do participants meet?

Participants attend one in-person workshop each month. In addition, they participate in weekly check-ins that include goal tracking, accountability, and progress updates.

This structure allows for flexibility while maintaining consistency and growth.

What happens at the monthly in-person sessions?

Each session focuses on a core theme such as:

  • Personal development and goal setting

  • Financial literacy and budgeting

  • Workforce readiness and career preparation

Workshops include practical instruction, interactive activities, mentorship, and faith-centered encouragement.

Is PG-13 faith-based?

Yes. PG-13 is rooted in Christian values and integrates faith-based mentorship and character development throughout the program.

We welcome participants from all backgrounds who respect our Christ-centered mission and community standards.

Is there a cost to participate?

PG-13 requires a modest one-time registration fee per cohort to help cover materials and program operations.

Scholarship assistance is available. No qualified participant will be turned away due to financial hardship.

Where is PG-13 located?

PG-13 serves young adults in Lakeland and Polk County, Florida. Specific meeting locations and schedules are provided upon enrollment.

What makes PG-13 different?

PG-13 combines structured skill development with faith-based mentorship and accountability.

We intentionally create a safe and positive community environment where young adults can grow without pressure toward unhealthy or risky behaviors.
