Our Mission

Mission Statement

PG-13: Post Graduate Transition Program exists to equip recent high school graduates with the practical skills, mentorship, and Christ-centered guidance needed to transition confidently into independent adulthood. Through workforce readiness, college and career support, financial literacy, life skills training, and a positive community environment, we empower young adults to grow in responsibility, integrity, and purpose.

Our Vision

Our vision is to cultivate a generation of young adults who are grounded in faith, strong in character, financially responsible, employable, and supported by a safe and encouraging community that promotes wise choices, meaningful relationships, and a life rooted in purpose.

Our Values

Integrity

We commit to honesty, transparency, and strong moral character in all relationships and decisions. We believe integrity builds trust and creates lasting success.

Stewardship

We faithfully manage the time, talents, finances, and opportunities entrusted to us. We teach young adults to handle resources wisely and with gratitude.

Responsibility

We encourage personal accountability, strong work ethic, and wise decision-making as foundations for independence and long-term stability.

Community

We cultivate a safe, supportive environment where young adults can build meaningful relationships and participate in positive activities without pressure toward unhealthy or risky behaviors.

Founder & Executive Director

Dr. Cassandra ‘Sandy’ Stieren
Principal, Student Solutions Academy
University Professor | Founder, Limitless Learning | Founder, PG-13

Dr. Sandy Stieren is a dedicated educator, school leader, university professor, and advocate for student-centered learning. Raised in Mulberry and now residing in Lakeland, she brings both personal passion and professional experience to her work in education.

Dr. Stieren has been married to her husband, David, for 25 years, and together they have three children: Charlie (23), Annslee (16), and Waylon (7). Her journey into specialized education began when her oldest son, Charlie, was diagnosed with Selective Mutism at the age of three. This pivotal experience inspired her lifelong commitment to understanding and supporting students with diverse learning needs.

With 19 years of experience in education, Dr. Stieren has served in a variety of roles including substitute teacher, paraprofessional, classroom teacher, PTA president, and school leader. This diverse background has given her a well-rounded understanding of students, families, and educational systems. She has built her career around the belief that students do not learn in the same way or at the same pace and is passionate about creating inclusive, flexible learning environments where all students have the opportunity to grow, succeed, and reach their full potential.

Dr. Stieren earned her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Post University and has completed her Doctorate in General Education. In addition to serving as the Principal of Student Solutions Academy, she is also a university professor, where she teaches business courses and brings real-world application into the classroom.

She is the founder of Limitless Learning, a virtual school designed to provide flexible, personalized education opportunities for students who thrive outside of traditional classroom settings. Through Limitless Learning, Dr. Stieren continues her mission of meeting students where they are academically, socially, and emotionally.

Dr. Stieren is also the founder of PG-13 (Post Graduate 13th Year), a nonprofit program created to support young adults ages 18–25 as they transition into adulthood. PG-13 focuses on real-world readiness by providing guidance in life skills, career planning, financial literacy, college and job applications, and professional development. The program also emphasizes mentorship, confidence-building, and social connection—helping participants navigate life after high school with purpose and direction. Through workshops, mentorship opportunities, and community partnerships, PG-13 equips young adults with the tools they need to succeed independently.

Outside of her professional work, Dr. Stieren enjoys traveling with her family and is on a mission to visit all 50 states—an experience that reflects her belief in real-world learning beyond the classroom. She is also the owner and founder of Cassandra Canvas Creations, where she has spent over 10 years hosting in-home painting experiences. Through this work, she helps individuals overcome their fear of creativity and build confidence in their abilities. Many of her participants have gone on to develop artistic skills that far exceeded their own expectations, reinforcing her belief that growth happens when individuals are given the opportunity, encouragement, and a supportive environment.

Through her leadership, teaching, and advocacy, Dr. Stieren continues to impact the lives of students and families by redefining what success looks like in education—meeting students where they are and helping them become who they are meant to be.
