Our Mission
Mission Statement
PG-13: Post Graduate Transition Program exists to equip recent high school graduates with the practical skills, mentorship, and Christ-centered guidance needed to transition confidently into independent adulthood. Through workforce readiness, college and career support, financial literacy, life skills training, and a positive community environment, we empower young adults to grow in responsibility, integrity, and purpose.
Our Vision
Our vision is to cultivate a generation of young adults who are grounded in faith, strong in character, financially responsible, employable, and supported by a safe and encouraging community that promotes wise choices, meaningful relationships, and a life rooted in purpose.
Our Values
Integrity
We commit to honesty, transparency, and strong moral character in all relationships and decisions. We believe integrity builds trust and creates lasting success.
Stewardship
We faithfully manage the time, talents, finances, and opportunities entrusted to us. We teach young adults to handle resources wisely and with gratitude.
Responsibility
We encourage personal accountability, strong work ethic, and wise decision-making as foundations for independence and long-term stability.
Community
We cultivate a safe, supportive environment where young adults can build meaningful relationships and participate in positive activities without pressure toward unhealthy or risky behaviors.
Purpose
We believe every individual is created with unique gifts and God-given purpose. We are committed to helping young adults discover their calling and pursue lives marked by intention and impact.
Leadership
Cassandra Stieren, Ed.D.
Founder & Executive Director
Dr. Cassandra Stieren is an experienced educational leader with more than a decade of service in education. She is a university professor and the Principal of Student Solutions Academy, where she has dedicated her career to supporting students through innovative and individualized learning approaches.
She and her husband of 25 years are the proud parents of three children, ages 23, 16, and 7. As her oldest son and many of her students approached graduation, Dr. Stieren recognized a common need: young adults often leave high school without the practical life skills necessary to confidently navigate adulthood.
Over the past three years, she has been developing PG-13: Post Graduate Transition Program to bridge that gap — equipping recent graduates with workforce readiness, financial literacy, life skills, and faith-centered mentorship to help them build stable, purpose-driven futures.
She is passionate about creating structured support systems that guide young adults toward independence, responsibility, and long-term success.
